Your data at Abel

Abel is built so that we hold as little of your data as possible. Here is exactly what we keep, and what we never see.

What we never see

• Your emails, calendar events, files or contacts. Your agents read them inside your AI (Claude, ChatGPT…) through that AI's own connectors.
• Your passwords. You sign in with an email link or with Google (name and email only).
• Your conversations with your AI.

What we keep

• Your account: your email address.
• Your agents: which agents you turned on, their settings and the preferences you write for them.
• Run reports: one line per run, such as “Sorted 23 emails, 4 need you”. We strip anything that looks like an email address, link or number before saving it.
• The Abel app connection: which AI you connected, as secure tokens that you can revoke at any time from My agents.
• What you ask Abel: the questions you type into Ask Abel, to improve recommendations and decide which agents to build next.
• Usage events: for example that an agent was turned on or shared, to measure whether Abel is useful.
• What your agents remember: only for agents that need it (for example Promise Keeper or Resume After Limit), the short items they save for you: a promise and its date, or the progress of a long task. You see all of it in My agents and can delete any item.
• Your reminder times: when you ask an agent to run at a set time, we keep that time and send you a reminder email then.

Who processes it

• Supabase (database and sign-in), hosted in the EU.
• Vercel (website hosting).
• Resend (sends reminder emails).
• Anthropic (the AI that powers Ask Abel reads the question you type, not your account data).

We don't sell your data, we don't show ads based on it, and we never use data from Gmail or any Google service for advertising.

Your rights

You can see, download or delete your data at any time, yourself, from My agents: “Download my data” gives you everything in one file, and “Delete my account” erases your account and everything linked to it straight away. “Stop everything” pauses all agents and disconnects the Abel app instantly. The questions you typed into Ask Abel and usage statistics are kept only without any link to you.

Audience measurement

We count page views without cookies and without identifying you: we record only the page, the day and the website you came from, never your IP address. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, we don't count your visit at all. That's why there is no cookie banner: the only cookie we set keeps you signed in.
